FUE Hair Transplant
Hair loss can seriously affect your self-confidence, for men and women alike. Thankfully there are options to restore a full head of hair, including transplants. Hair transplantation moves your own growing hair follicles (usually from the back of the head) to thinning or balding areas for natural looking results for both men and women.
What is FUE?
FUE stands for Follicular Unit Excision, and it is considered the gold standard in hair transplantation. Individual follicular units are extracted one at a time from the back and sides of the scalp for transplantation to bald and thinning areas. Earlier methods removed entire strips of follicles, resulting in scarring; whereas, FUE results in a natural look with no scars.

Am I A Good Candidate?
Men and women with Androgenic Alopecia can benefit from hair transplantation. Other conditions that cause hair loss and thinning may lend themselves to hair transplantation. The only way to be certain is to meet with Dr. Stein for an evaluation of your hair loss and detailed discussion of your options.
When combined with Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) treatments, FUE hair transplantation can cure bald spots for the right candidate. PRP stimulates hair restoration using your body’s own natural growth factors. See our PRP page for more information.
